Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins, the Mexican American broadcaster. She works as an ESPN anchor for news and also hosts SportsNation occasionally. She began her career at ESPN in the year of 2016. Her mother is the television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is bilingual and has been since when she was nine years old. The ability to speak two languages helped her to get her first job at Univision, Miami. She was able to work as a producer for national programs like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. The CBS affiliate located in St. Petersburg hired her in the following year as a sports reporter. She moved in 2009 to Rio Grande Valley, Texas to become an anchor for the newscast of the Spanish station KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. Her residence was with her family in Canton Ohio with her older sister over the summer, where she had been provided with a job. Still a senior at high school, but with a clear idea what she would like to accomplish for her life, Antonietta visited her local University of Mount Union to assess if it suited her preferences. Then, she fell in love with the campus. They also offered her a major. After finishing her high school education, she chose to attend the University with a major in Media Studies. Mark Bergmann, her professor who was also the WRMU's 91.1FM station, where she was employed over the years, became her friend. Professor Bergmann encouraged her to be confident and was deeply moved by his love of journalism.
